Joined Carewell Hospital

Joined Carewell Hospital, Kasaragod, Kerala as an interventional cardiologist in May 2025. Our team has been serving in this one of the oldest hospital establishment for last 5 months. We have offered many cutting edge modalities and have accomplished many first in the region interventional milestones in this short time.

We did many complex cases in this short time with imaging guidance inclusing OCT, stentless angioplasties using Drug eluting balloons and few peripheral procedures including AV fistuloplasty. We even started doing pacemakers with most of them getting dual chamber and more physiological septal pacing achieving fairly narrow QRS.

I have been blessed to have support of sincere and experienced team which includes Raghesh (Our cath technician); our scrub nurses Dhanya, Lijesh, Swapna; our attender Vineeth and manager Shaban. I have been fortunate to have worked with most of them since around 2021 when I first started visiting Kasaragod at Meitra United Heart Center.

Shall try to keep this blog updated with patient centered as well as academic information. I am saying 'try' as it gets a lot difficult to keep consistency with busy schedule.
